Common use
Budecort Inhaler is used to manage asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It contains Budesonide, a corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation in the airways, improving breathing and preventing flare-ups. This inhaler is used for long-term control, not immediate relief.
Dosage and direction
Use Budecort Inhaler as directed by your doctor. Refer to the enclosed leaflet before using it. Do not swallow. After inhalation, rinse the mouth with water.
Precautions
Caution is advised in pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Caution is advised in patients with existing infections (tuberculosis, fungal, bacterial, viral, or parasitic infection; or ocular herpes simplex), weakened immune system, osteoporosis or low bone mineral density, glaucoma and cataracts.
Contraindications
If you are allergic to budesonide, you should not use Budecort Inhaler. Read the label and check the ingredients on the pack to avoid allergic reactions.
Budecort Inhaler is contraindicated in acute dyspnea or status asthmaticus patients where intensive care measures are required.
Possible side effect
The common side effects of Budecort Inhaler include: Irritation in the throat; Difficulty in swallowing; Cough; Oral candidiasis (fungal mouth infection).
Drug interaction
Avoid medications like Itraconazole, Ketoconazole, Clarithromycin, Atazanavir, Indinavir Nelfinavir, Ritonavir, Saquinavi, Nefazodone, Dexamethasone, Methylprednisolone, Prednisone and Telithromycin.
Missed dose
If you forgot to use Budecort Inhaler, use it as soon as you remember. If the time for the next dosage is close, it is recommended to skip the missed one now and resume your regular dosage pattern. Never increase your dosage without consulting your doctor.
Overdose
Excessive doses of this medicine for prolonged periods can cause systemic corticosteroid effects such as hypercorticism. Therefore, strict adherence to the prescribed dosage and duration is recommended.
Storage
Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC. Do not freeze. Keep Budecort Inhaler away from children.
